Darkest Era has today announced the departure of David Lindsay (DJ) from the band. It’s an amicable parting to allow DJ to focus on other interests. The band is extremely grateful for the contribution DJ made to Darkest Era over the past 6 years. Darkest Era is now actively seeking a new bass player. Darkest Era are pleased to finally announce a full UK tour with Alestorm and Claim The Throne. The tour will see the band play 14 shows right across the country in its first extensive UK tour. Check the dates out on the poster below

A massive thank you to everyone who turned out to our album launch show in the Limelight last Saturday. We shattered the attendance record of previous RocKD shows; it warmed our hearts to see a totally packed venue roaring back at us! Darkest Era will celebrate the release of their debut album with a special launch show atThe Limelight, Belfast on Saturday 26th March. The lineup includes fellow Irish warrior Steel Tormentor, Sirocco, and a reformed Sorrowfall featuring their original lineup. It has been over a year since the band last performed in Belfast and it promises to be a killer night of metal mayhem!
